Early Admission Exercise Conference Hackathon 2020
EAEcon served as an avenue for secondary school students to learn and hone the skills needed to take part in the Early Admissions Exercise, in order to secure a spot in a diploma of their choice before O levels. CYS hosted a simple web development lesson for the students to help craft and onboard their portfolios as a website. CYS also engaged with the youths by inviting past successful EAE applicants to share more about their experiences as well as the tips and tricks that they had used to get through the exercise.

Student Volunteer Recognition Programme Award (SVRP) 2019
Developed by Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP) and Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the SVRP aims to encourage volunteerism amongst students while honing their interest and skills in cybersecurity. SVRP, an initiative under CSA’s SG Cyber Youth Programme, has received strong participation and support from local Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) as well as AiSP’s industry partners.

10th Singapore Cyber Conquest 2019
The 10th edition of the Singapore Cyber Conquest (SCC), a Capture-the-Flag competition for students from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL), took place during the Singapore International Cyber Week 2019. A total of 37 teams from both Singapore and ASEAN Member States, competed in a simulated real-world cyber range designed to test cybersecurity skills and knowledge. This is the second year IHLs from ASEAN Member States have participated in the competition, enabling students within the region to interact and learn from one another.
